This a great fly that works well in early spring, to early summer. It has colors in common with the hare’s ear nymph, but the Whirling Dervish incorporates a dense color of natural rabbit fur, which gives it lots of movement in the water. The fox fur also adds some durability to the fly. The fish seem to like the movement and colors. Tie in sizes 12-16.
