The popular Nymph-Head™ brand includes all products used predominantly in the tying of nymph fly patterns. This includes the two most comprehensive ranges of fly tying beads on the market today, but will be further expanded during 2011/2012 to include a number of exciting new fly tying products that are currently under development.

Nymph-Head™ HEAVY METAL tungsten beads

The Heavy Metal™ range of modern tungsten fly-tying beads have 3D “nymph eyes” creating a realistic insect profile. The beads are available in 10 different colors, 6 sizes and are the heaviest tungsten beads on the market today. Not only do they enhance and breathe new life into existing bead head nymph patterns, but they also offer fly tiers endless possibilities for creating exciting, new flies.

Nymph-Head FLYCOLOR™ brass beads

The FlyColor™ range of modern brass fly tying beads offer fly tiers a lighter, lower-cost option to Tungsten beads. These are high-quality, Industry standard, round countersunk brass beads that are available in 10 vibrant Natural, Traditional and Attractor colors in our unique Chromax™ anodized finish. The beads are available in 6 sizes.

Fish-Skull™

The Fish-Skull™ is a weighted head that has a realistic baitfish profile and is specifically designed for tying freshwater and saltwater streamer fly patterns. Quick-and-simple to tie, this latest innovation in fly tying offers fly fishermen an exciting alternative to using old-style dumbbells or cones to weight their flies.

Fish-Skull™ Sculpin Helmet

The Sculpin Helmet is an exciting, new style of Fish-Skull™ with a realistic, flat and broad profile that imitates common bottom-dwelling fish species such as sculpins, gobies and baby catfish. Heavier than the Fish-Skull™ it is designed for use on both hook and tube flies allowing anglers to easily tie weighted streamers that fish deep and imitate these popular food sources.

Fish-Skull™ Articulated Shank

The Articulated Shank™ is an innovative, new fly tying material designed to simplify the tying of articulated flies. It can be used as a simple component in different styles of articulated flies such as single-hook and two-hook articulated streamers and poppers. It is also used for streamers that use a free-swinging stinger hook such as Intruder-style salmon and steelhead flies.

Fish-Skull™ Frantic Tails

Frantic Tails are ultra-lightweight, bite-proof, synthetic fish-tails that can be used for almost any style of baitfish fly pattern or surface popper. They have a realistic baitfish profile offering fly fishermen a simple and effective alternative to using hackle and other traditional tail materials. They are made of an almost indestructible synthetic suede that cannot be bitten off, will not shrink and is easily colored with a permanent marker pen. Most importantly, they produce a frisky, fish-attracting tail action when fished!
