Fly Tying Pro Team
The Flymen Fly Tying Pro Team is a program designed to support the unique needs of those members of the professional fly tying community who enjoy and proactively tie with our products. It allows our company to formalize a direct relationship with many top fly tiers and to better support them in their fly tying efforts and activities.
This is an international team consisting of well qualified and recognized individuals who are active within the fly fishing community and have a demonstrable degree of true professionalism, i.e. they earn compensation through their fly tying activities.

In the fly fishing world, “professionalism” may be defined as earning compensation from sources such as commercial fly tying, book author royalties, article publication fees, fly tying instructor fees and fly fishing show appearances.
Team membership is determined on an annual basis. At the beginning of each year, a new team is created for the coming year. At that time, existing memberships are reviewed and new member applications are considered for inclusion in the new team.
